Boost Your Reviews Strategy with Review Request Flows

In a mobile-first shopping landscape, brands should incorporate innovative ways to collect more reviews and enhance their reviews strategy — and SMS is a fantastic channel to do so. And with the connected experience between Yotpo SMS & Email and Yotpo Reviews, you can send fully automated customer review requests via text message.

The following article will teach you how to easily enable product and site review request flows to level up your strategy and grow your brand.

Before you start

Creating review request flows

The apps sync automatically once you have both Yotpo SMS & Email and Yotpo Reviews installed on your Shopify store. All you have to do is enable the review request flows. Go to Flows > Flow Templates.

Now type "reviews" in the search bar, and you’ll see the two types of flows you can enable:

• Yotpo Product Review Request: ask your customers via SMS to give their feedback on how they like the item they purchased from you.
• Yotpo Site Review Request: get your customers’ opinions on their overall experience with your brand via SMS.

Simply click on the flow card you wish to enable and click on Activate flow.

If you want to change the pre-written message and maybe add a little something to match your brand’s voice, you can simply click on the Edit flow button, which will lead you to the flow editor.

Once activated, the flows will prompt shoppers to leave their feedback after placing an order.
