# Change Default Share Text

When a customer decides to share their unique referral link with friends - either via the rewards popup, the Share Referral Link popup, or otherwise - they'll typically be offered to do so using Twitter, Facebook, or email.

In this article, you'll learn how to **customize all of the default text** associated with each of those share options:

## Customizing Facebook, Twitter, and SMS share texts

1. Go to the **Referral Program** section of Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals.
2. Click on the green **Customize Referral Program** button.
3. Scroll to the bottom to customize all of the share text:

Facebook also allows you to include a brief description of your store when a customer shares their referral link. ## Customizing the Share Email text

To customize the Share Email text:

1. Go to the **Communications** section in Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals.
2. Find the **Referral Share Email** and click **Customize Email**:

This is the suggested subject and body of the email which your customers can use to share their referral link
		
			
			Please note:
			When editing the default message in your Loyalty & Referrals account, it's especially important to keep the ***|referral_link|*** tag -- otherwise, Loyalty & Referrals will not be able to automatically insert each customer's referral link!
