        A Double Points earning rule (previously known as a campaign) lets you award twice as many "Points for Purchase" per customer. This is a great way to boost sales around big holiday shopping weekends and encourage more frequent purchases and higher order values.

        To run a Double Points Campaign, simply create two Points for Purchases Campaigns that run simultaneously. Each purchase will award your customer with points, twice (double points!)

        Setting up double points earning rule

        1. From the Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals main menu, go to Set Up Program > Earning Rules.
        2. Click Create earning rule.
        3. Select the Points for Purchases campaign.
        4. In the The amount of points the customer earns is… dropdown menu, select A Fixed Amount.
        If this is your first Points for Purchase campaign

        In the Reward Amount field, set the amount you want to reward. When you're finished setting up, Repeat steps 1-4 to create your second campaign which will stack on top of the first one.

        Note: In the Reward Amount field, set the same amount as in your original Points for Purchase campaign.

        If you already set up a different Points for Purchase campaign

        In the Reward Amount field, set the same amount as in your original Points for Purchase campaign. 

        5. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page

        When both Points for Purchase campaigns are enabled, your double points is live! You will see the new campaign in the “Earning Points” section of your Loyalty & Referrals admin. 

        Let everyone know!
        Make sure your customers know about the campaign! This is a great way to incentivize additional (and larger) purchases.

        We recommend placing a graphic on your rewards page and sending an email to your customer base.

        Double points for specific products/customers

        If you'd like the Double Points earning rule to be available only for certain products or to certain customers. You can adjust the Product IDs, Product Tags, and Customer Tags fields.

        Double points for VIP tiers

        Double points campaigns can also be added to VIP tiers that have point multipliers applied to their Points for Purchase campaign. 

        If you wish for the secondary Points for Purchase campaign to apply to those tiers, go to Programs > VIP Tiers and check the new campaign box to apply the multiplier to the newly added Points for Purchase campaign.

        Scheduling double points

        Available for:

        Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals Premium and Enterprise plans. Merchants on the Pro plan will need to manually turn off the earning rule.

        Many brands use double points during holiday shopping weekends or other special events. You can schedule a timeframe for double points to run by using the campaign scheduling option on the campaign settings. 

        one of your points for purchase campaigns is your "base" The other one will be your "double." On the "Double" campaign, schedule it to run for however long you want double points to be awarded.
