This helps shoppers make informed purchasing decisions without spending too much time going over all available reviews. In this article, you’ll learn how to enable the Reviews Summary, how it displays on your store, and what configuration options are available. ## How It Works The Reviews Summary appears as an always-visible section called **What customers say**. It displays an **AI-generated product-level summary** of **all** Yotpo reviews for the product, including those collected through: - Review requests - Syndicated reviews - Imported reviews - Other supported collection methods > [!CAUTION] > **Note** For bundle products, the Reviews Summary is generated only from reviews submitted directly for the bundle. The generated summary is displayed according to the language set in your Reviews Widget. To change the display language, update your widget language settings. For more information, see our [Languages & Translations in Yotpo Reviews](https://support.yotpo.com/docs/translating-yotpo-reviews) guide. > [!CAUTION] > **Note** > > If your store supports **multiple languages**, the **widget and summary** are displayed in the **selected store language**, depending on your store’s language configuration. **Reviews remain in their original language**. Shoppers can use the **translate option** below each review to view it in their **preferred language**. For the Reviews Summary to appear, a product must have: - At least 20 reviews, **and** - At least 2 topics, with 5 reviews for each topic. ### Frequency of Summary Updates **The Reviews Summary does not update in real time.** It is refreshed **only** when all of the following conditions are met: - The product has received **at least 50% more reviews** since the last summary update - The product reaches a **review count milestone** (for example: 50, 100, 500 reviews) - **At least 2 of the product’s top 10 review topics have changed** - **At least 2 months have passed** since the last summary update This update logic helps keep the summary stable and representative of meaningful changes in customer feedback. ## Before You Start Before you add the Reviews Summary, the new Reviews Widget must already be installed on your site. To learn more about our new widgets, see our [New Widgets Overview](https://support.yotpo.com/docs/widgets-30-overview) guide. ## Getting Started ### Adding the Reviews Summary Drawer to Your Store The Reviews Summary can be added to the Reviews Widget, Star Rating, or both. To add the Reviews Summary to your store: 1. In your Yotpo Reviews main menu, go to [On-site Widgets](https://reviews.yotpo.com/#/display-reviews/on-site-widgets) and select the Reviews Widget (main widget). 2. Click **Edit**. 3. Click on the **Reviews Summary** section, enable the toggle to activate the summary paragraph and the drawer by topics. 4. A fixed secondary button called **Read summary by topics** opens the topic-based summary drawer. Enabling it in the Star Rating Widget only adds a way for shoppers to open the summary drawer from the star rating. If you want shoppers to access the summary drawer from the Star Rating Widget: 1. Go to **On-Site Widgets** and select the **Star Rating Widget**. 2. Enable the **Reviews Summary** toggle. 3. The Summary Banner is a fully customizable block that appears within the first two pages of your displayed reviews. It allows you to engage shoppers even if they haven’t opened the summary drawer, helping you capture their attention as they scroll. Here’s how to enable it: 1. From your Yotpo Admin, navigate to **On-Site Widgets > Reviews Widget > Edit**. 2.
