Configuring Personalized Recommendations
You no longer need to manually suggest products to your customers! The Yotpo SMS & Email engine takes care of it for you, offering tailored product recommendations based on each customer’s order history. Every customer receives personalized suggestions, ensuring their experience feels unique and meaningful.

If a customer doesn’t have an order history, our algorithm steps in to suggest products based on your store’s statistics and trends. This ensures every recommendation is data-driven and optimized to resonate with your customers, even if they’re shopping with you for the first time!
Using Personalized Recommendations
Adding product recommendations to your text messages is simple and straightforward! Start by creating a new flow using the Cross-sell trigger paired with the Personalized Recommendations SMS action. Here’s how to set it up:
In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Flows > My Flows.
Click Create Flow.
In the editor, select the Cross-sell trigger and configure the product(s) that will activate the flow.
Add an SMS/MMS message action as the next step. The Use personalized recommendations option will already be selected in the Product Recommendation section.
Complete the rest of your flow setup and click Save when you’re done.
