Country Limitations Overview

The Country Limitations Settings in Yotpo SMS & Email empower you to tailor your messaging strategy by specifying target countries and controlling costs. This feature allows you to include or exclude specific countries for your SMS campaigns and set a maximum price per message, ensuring efficient and cost-effective communication with your customers.

Limitations

The Limitations feature lets you send texts only to customers in certain countries, or exclude customers in other countries. Under Send SMS only to the following countries, click Include or Exclude and select the countries from the drop-down menu or by typing them in. Click Not set if you’d like to turn off this option.

The Max message price field lets you cap the cost spent per message. In other words, the app doesn’t send any messages over the limit you have set here.

Under Max message price, click Enabled to set the maximum price you want your messages to be. When your Shopify store tries to send a text message that goes above the price you've set here, we will not send out that message.

You can override the Max message price setting for onsite verification messages by checking the box below the price field. When you enable this option, Yotpo SMS & Email ensures one-time code messages are sent to your customers during verification, even if they exceed your price limit. This way, you won't miss out on gaining valuable new subscribers.
