Revenue Analytics Overview
Yotpo SMS & Email allows all users to review and track their progress in sales made through marketing channels using the Analytics feature. Regularly checking your Shopify store’s statistics will help you gain clarity on how your business is growing, create a more robust marketing plan for the future and reach higher sales.
Understanding Revenue Analytics
The Revenue Analytics page provides a summary of key performance metrics, including visual charts and data to help you quickly asses the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns and flows.
Accessing Your Analytics
In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Analytics > Revenue Analytics.
The Revenue Analytics page will load and display a summary of key figures and visual information about the performance of your SMS and email campaigns and flows.
Choosing a Timeframe and Channel Type
Before diving into your data, you should choose which timeframe and channel to analyze:
Timeframe Options: Choose to view data by day, month, year, or select a custom range.
Channel Type: Filter your data by SMS, Email or All to view a comprehensive summary of your marketing efforts.
This filtering allows you to drill down into specific period and and channels, giving you precise insights into how each element of your marketing strategy is performing.
General Overview of Your Performance
On the Revenue Analytics page, the first set of metrics displaced are:
Total Revenue: This reflects the total sales generated via Yotpo SMS & Email.
Total Spend: This reflects the total cost of the messages you sent to your customers.
Total ROI (Return on Investment): This reflects your return on investment and is defined by the money you earned with Yotpo SMS & Email campaigns and the cost of sending all messages.
Total Orders: This reflects the number of purchases made via the selected channel during your chosen timeframe.
Next each of these metrics, green (or red if negative) percentage figures indicate how your performance compares to the previous time period. This gives you an at-a-glance understanding of whether your efforts are improving or need adjustment.
Revenue Sources
Revenue sources are categorized into three main areas:
Campaigns
Flows
Automations
Other
For each revenue source, you’ll see corresponding performance metrics. Clicking on any of these categories will open a dedicated analytics page with more detailed information about that specific source. You can also access these categories from the Analytics menu.
The Revenue Growth chart provides a visual representation of your revenue over time. For more granular insights, click on View Report to go directly to your detailed reports page.
