Gatsby - Integration Guide for Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals

Gatsby’s integration with Yotpo allows you to reward your customers for Instagram Mentions as part of your broader loyalty and rewards program in Yotpo. For example: Earn 25 points for mentioning your brand on Instagram.

Integrating Yotpo with Gatsby

To integrate Gatsby with Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals, follow these steps: 

1. Log into Gatsby and to Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals.
2. In Yotpo Loyalty, go to Settings > General Settings and copy your API Key and GUID.
3. In Gatsby, go to Integrations > Yotpo and enter the API Key and GUID you copied.
   
4. Click Integrate and then click Launch Campaign or Update Campaign at the top.
5. From Yotpo Loyalty, go to Set Up Program > Loyalty Campaigns and click Start a New Campaign.
   
6. Select the Custom Action campaign.
7. Copy the text below and enter it in the ActionName and Campaign Name fields: Mentioned You (Gatsby)
   

  8. Fill out the rest of the Custom Action form to designate how many points a mention should be worth. For example: If they can     earn this reward 1x, or multiple times for multiple mentions, etc.

     9. Once you’re done editing the campaign, click Create.
    10. Make sure your campaign is active.

Testing the setup

To test the setup, follow these steps: 

1. Add a user to both your Gatsby and Yotpo Loyalty programs.
   Make sure the user has the same email address on both platforms.
2. Have the test user mention your brand on Instagram, and confirm that the event is triggered in Yotpo and that the points are issued to the test user.
