Increase Average Order Value per Purchase
This campaign structure is aimed to motivate your customers to add that extra product and reach the spend threshold they need to receive even more points for their purchase.
By leveraging multiple Punch Card campaigns, you can reward your customers for making larger purchases and increase your Average Order Value (AOV).
For example, you may choose to set up three spending thresholds:
- 75 points for $50 spent
- 200 points for $100 spent
- 350 points for $150 spent
Setting up the earning rules
The base rule
- Go to the Earning Points section of your Loyalty & Referrals admin
- Click on Start a new Campaign
- Choose a Punch Cardcampaign:
- In the campaign settings, set the Goal Purchases to 1
- Set the Minimum Spend Per Purchase setting to one of the amounts you've chosen for rewards (in our case - $50)
- Set the amounts of points you wish to reward for the chosen amount
- Change the Title, Reward Text, and descriptions fields accordingly:
Second level rule
Now we want to award our customer with 200 points. To do so, we set up another Punch card campaign that will be automatically added to the base campaign we created earlier. Following our example:
- Go to the Earning Points section of your Loyalty & Referrals admin
- Click on Start a new Campaign
- Choose another Punch Cardcampaign:
- In the campaign settings, set the Goal Purchases to 1
- Set the Minimum Spend Per Purchase setting to one of the amounts you've chosen for rewards (in our case - $100)
- Set the amounts of points to complement the base campaign (For example, our base campaign awards 75 points, and we want the second level campaign to reward customers with 200 points so we need to set it to 125 points - 75 +125 = 200)
- Change the Title, Reward Text, and descriptions fields accordingly:
This means that when a customer makes a purchase for $100, they will receive 75 points for the base campaign and another 125 points for the second level campaign. This accumulates to 200 points per $100 spent (and already includes the $50 campaign reward)
Third level rule
Now we want to award our customer with 350 points. To do so, we set up a third Punch card campaign that will be automatically added to the base campaign and the second level campaign we created earlier. Following our example:
- Go to the Earning Points section of your Loyalty & Referrals admin
- Click on Start a new Campaign
- Choose another Punch Cardcampaign:
- In the campaign settings, set the Goal Purchases to 1
- Set the Minimum Spend Per Purchase setting to one of the amounts you've chosen for rewards (in our case - $150)
- Set the amounts of points to complement the base campaign + second level campaign(For example, our base campaign awards 75 points and our second level campaign is 125 points. We want the third level campaign to award customers with 350 points so we need to set it to 150 points - 75 +125 +150 = 350)
- Change the Title, Reward Text, and descriptions fields accordingly:
This means that when a customer makes a purchase for $150, they will receive 75 points for the base campaign, 125 points for the second level campaign, and another 150 points for the third level campaign. This accumulates to 350 points per $150 spent (and already includes the $50 campaign reward and the second level $100 campaign)
You can set up as many punch card campaigns as you want and change all the settings in accordance with the AOV you'd like to achieve.
