    It also attracts more customers to join your loyalty program, creating purpose-driven purchases, more authentic relationships, and increases customer lifetime value.

    Before you start

    You need to have an account with ShoppingGives. To create an account, visit ShoppingGives plans page. There is a Yotpo Loyalty plan under the A La Carte section.

    How to integrate

    After you set up your ShoppingGives account:

    1. In your Loyalty & Referrals admin, go to Integrations.
    2. Choose ShoppingGives, click Add.
    3. Click Add Integration.
    4. If you have not yet downloaded the Change Commerce donation app to your store, a popup will appear prompting you to install the app now. If you already have the app, skip to step #6.
    5. Accept the terms and conditions of the donation app.
    6. Add the integration to your store. For Shopify users, inside the app on your Shopify store, click Settings > integrations.
    7.  Click Integrate.
    8. Insert your Loyalty & Referrals GUID & API key. See exactly where to find your GUID & API key.
    9. Click Authenticate, and you’re all set.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Are customers going to get a tax return for their donation?

    Can I email customers about their donations?
    Yes, you can use our events and attributes to send emails regarding donations as a redemption option and as a campaign. Use events to send emails such as “Thank you for donating your points”, “You just earned points for the donation”.
