The synergy between Yotpo SMS & Email and Loyalty will enable you to target customers with hyper-personalized messages at just the right moment, promote your Loyalty program to SMS subscribers, and increase sales by launching exclusive reward campaigns.

The following article will show you how to set up Loyalty flows.

    Setting Up Yotpo Loyalty Flows

Thanks to the Yotpo Synergy, the apps sync automatically once you have both SMS & Email and Reviews and UGC installed on your Shopify store. All you have to do is enable the review request flows. Go to Flows & Automations > Flow Templates

Now type loyalty in the search bar, and you’ll see all the flows you can enable.  With Yotpo Loyalty, you can choose from 6 triggers and launch highly personalized SMS and email flows:

    • Yotpo Loyalty new VIP Tier: Triggered when a customer reaches a specific tier. Make sure you have set up your tiers from your Yotpo Loyalty account
    • Yotpo Loyalty VIP tier expiring: Triggered a number of days before customers' tier expiration date urging them to maintain tier status.
    • Yotpo Loyalty Birthday Reward: Triggered on the customer's birthday so you can send them a special points reward.
    • Yotpo Loyalty points reminder: Triggered when the customer hasn’t engaged with the Loyalty program in over 30 days. Includes Loyalty details, such as points needed, points earned, points balance, and redemption name.
    • Yotpo Loyalty redemption reminder: Triggered when the customer hasn’t engaged with the Loyalty program in over 30 days. Includes Loyalty details, such as points balance and redemption name.
    • Yotpo Loyalty rewards program welcome: Triggered when a customer joins your Loyalty program.
    • Yotpo Loyalty reward received: Triggered when a customer in your Loyalty program redeems points to get a coupon for a discount, free shipping, etc.
    Important:
This trigger is irrelevant and won't be triggered if your customers redeem points for a discount/product automatically redeemed at checkout.

To set up a flow with the Loyalty triggers, all you have to do is click on the flow you wish to enable and follow the steps.

You can also create a brand-new flow on your own. Select a trigger manually, and continue setting up your flow as usual.

    Loyalty Conditions

You can improve personalization by including various conditions in your flows. This way, you can send different messages to customers on different Loyalty tiers, with a different point balance and many more. You must simply add a condition step to your flow and choose the desired one.

    Important:
Loyalty conditions can be added to almost every trigger, not just the Loyalty triggers.
