About JOIN
JOIN is a SaaS solution for creating, distributing, and tracking stories. With JOIN, you can generate content with just a few clicks using templates and AI features, or reuse content from your social media, whether it’s proprietary or user-generated. The stories can then be easily added to your preferred platform. JOIN’s analytics page lets you track the performance of your stories and refine your marketing strategies.
How it works
Integrating JOIN Stories with Yotpo SMS & Email does not require any installation. Simply log into JOIN, create a story, and then add it to your SMS or email campaign in Yotpo SMS & Email. The story editor in JOIN offers various options: you can start a story from scratch, use a template, or add content from your Instagram account.
Before you start
To use the JOIN and Yotpo SMS & Email integration, you need an active JOIN account.
Creating a story in JOIN
To create a story in JOIN:
On the home screen, click New story.
Select Blank story or From an inspiration, and click Create story.
Add text, images, or videos, and customize your colors. To learn more, go to JOIN’s Help Center.
When ready, click Generate story.
The story will appear in the gallery on the home screen.
Adding a JOIN story to an SMS campaign
To add a JOIN story to an SMS campaign in Yotpo SMS & Email:
On JOIN’s home screen, find the story you want to add.
Hover over the story, click the 3-dot menu icon, and select Copy story link.
Next, go to Campaigns in Yotpo SMS & Email and create a new SMS campaign, or find the one where you want to add your story.
Paste the story URL to your text message. It will be shortened automatically.
Before sending your SMS campaign, review its settings by clicking Review campaign.

Adding a JOIN story to an email campaign
To add a JOIN story to an email campaign in Yotpo SMS & Email:
On JOIN’s home screen, find the story you want to add.
Hover over the story, click the share icon, and select Share by email.
Complete the configuration setup and click Generate my email story.
Once your email story is ready, click Code HTML and then Copy code.
Next, go to Campaigns in Yotpo SMS & Email and create a new email campaign, or find the one where you want to add your story.
From Blocks in the email editor, drag the HTML block into your email and paste the code in the window that opens.
Click outside the window to close it and preview the widget.
After you’ve finished editing your email, click Save & close.

Tip:
We recommend sending a few test emails or text messages before sending the finalized version out to your subscribers.
