You define the look and feel for your public answers on the Reviews Widget and customize the answer request and answer notification emails.

Recommended Settings

  • If the Profanity feature is enabled, questions and answers that contain explicit language will not be auto sent and auto published.

Customizing the Q&A section of the widget

  1. From your Yotpo Reviews menu, go to On-Site Widgets.
  2. Click Q&A.

Changing the name for your public answers in the Reviews Widget

This setting affects the label that appears next to your public comments and answers in the Reviews Widget.

  1. Enter the label in the Name field.
  2. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the avatar for your public answers in the Reviews Widget

This setting affects the avatar that appears next to your public comments and answers in the Reviews Widget.

  1. Click the image next to Avatar.
  2. Browse to the logo you want to use.
  3. Click Open.
  4. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

Customizing the answer request email

Changing the answer request email subject

This setting affects the subject in the Answer Request Email.

  1. Type the email subject you want to appear in the Email Subject field.
  2. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the answer request email main text

This setting affects the main (body) text in the Answer Request Email.

  1. Type the email subject you want to appear in the Body field.
  2. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the answer request email main signature

This setting affects the closing text that appears in the Answer Request Email Signature.

  1. Type the subject you want to appear in the Footer field.
  2. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the answer response email subject

  1. Type the email subject you want to appear in the Email Subject field.

Sending a test email

  1. Click Send Test. The default email is the address associated with the account. You can enter a different email.
  2. Click Send.
