    Goals and Outcomes

    The Referrals Dashboard offers a detailed view of your referrals program’s performance. It helps you make data-driven decisions using key metrics like program revenue and participation.

    Use the dashboard to:

    • Track total revenue: Monitor the total revenue you’ve generated through your referrals program for a selected date range.

    • Analyze revenue streams: Get a granular view of your revenue sources (e.g., revenue from a referred friend’s first order versus subsequent orders).

    • Export data: Export data to build custom reports and share them with teammates and stakeholders.

    Data refreshes once a day, at approximately 2:00 AM EST.

    Getting Started

    Access the Referrals Dashboard from your Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals admin. To view the Referrals Dashboard:

    • Log in to Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals.

    • Navigate to the Analytics section.

    • Click Referrals Performance.

    Referrals Dashboard Overview

    This dashboard has several sections that you can filter by date range:

    • Program revenue

    • Revenue over time

    • Program participation

    Let’s explore each section below.

    Note

    All dashboard data is displayed in the currency selected in your Shopify store.

    Program Revenue

    The Program Revenue section breaks down the revenue generated by referred friends and referring customers.

    Key Metrics

    • Total program revenue: This is the combined revenue from all (first and subsequent) orders made by referred friends, as well as referring customer orders in the selected date range.

      • Formula: Total program revenue = Friend first order revenue + Friend subsequent order revenue + Referring customer revenue

    • Friend first order revenue: Revenue from the first orders placed by referred friends in the selected date range.

    • Friend subsequent orders revenue: Revenue from all additional orders made by referred friends during the selected period, excluding their first order.

    • Referring customer revenue: Revenue generated by referring customer orders placed within 90 days of receiving and using a referral reward (points or discounts).

    Additional Metrics

    • Total friend revenue: The combined revenue from referred friends’ first and subsequent orders in the selected date range.

      • Formula: Total friend revenue = Friend first order revenue + Friend subsequent order revenue

    • Friend first order revenue share: The percentage of referral revenue out of all new customer revenue in the selected date range.

    Program Revenue Over Time

    The Program Revenue Over Time section displays graph data for two metrics, each presented in a separate tab: Total program revenue and Friend first order revenue. Each bar chart compares current and previous period data, providing an overview of your program’s performance over time.

    Program Participation

    The Program Participation section tracks how customers engage with your referrals program.

    Key Metrics

    • Referring customers: The number of all customers who referred at least one friend to your store in the selected date range. This includes only referrals where the friend entered their email after clicking the referral link.

    • Purchasing friends: The number of all eligible friends who were referred to your store and then placed an order in the selected date range.

    Export Options

    Export your referrals program data for analysis or sharing:

    • Download as CSV:

      Download a one-time comma-separated value (.csv) report.

    • Download as PDF:

      Generate a one-time report in PDF format.
