This guide will explain the required process in order to send new review notifications to Slack using Zapier.
Step 1: Configure the email integration
- Log into Zapier.
- Choose a name for your integration and select Gmail (or any other email application) as the Trigger App.
- Select New email matching search.
- Choose the Yotpo Admin Account Email address.
- In the 'Search String' write: FROM:no-reply@yotpo.com AND SUBJECT:Comment on your new review.
- Select the first result that matches.
Step 2: Configure the Slack integration
- Select Slack as the Action app.
- Choose Send Channel Message or Send Private Channel Message (Depending on your Slack Channel settings).
- Choose an account that is part of that Slack channel.
- Choose the relevant Channel, edit the message text and choose the email content that wwas used in Step 1.
- Activate the Zap and make sure it works properly.

Please note that this integration is based on your Slack license and amount of 'Zaps' you are entitled to as part of your plan.
