In this article, you'll learn to get your Visual UGC account up and running in 4 easy steps.

        Getting started

The first time you log into your Visual UGC account, you’ll be automatically directed to the setup wizard.

Just click Get Started to begin. You can return to the onboarding wizard at any time and finish setting up by clicking the profile icon on the top-right corner of your screen and selecting Installation.

Start by customizing the design of your gallery. You can define the layout and spacing, the design of the button, and more. We recommend you match the design to your brand.

You can update these customization settings at any time. Learn more about designing your gallery and explore more design settings in Gallery Design and Settings.

When you’re done, click Next: Add media.

        Step 2: Add media

Now choose the media you want to display in your gallery. You can choose photos/videos from your Instagram business account, from your Yotpo Reviews account (if you’re a customer), or you can upload media manually from your computer.

To add media from Instagram, do the following:

        1. Make sure your Facebook and Instagram accounts are linked.
        2. Click Log in. You’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook account.
        3. Enter your Facebook credentials, and then click Continue.
        4. Select the Facebook business page you want to link to.
        5. When you’re done, click Next: Preview.

To save you time, we recommend you let us place the gallery on your website for you. Just click Place for me and we’ll do the rest. Depending on your setup, you can choose to display your gallery in any of the following locations:

        • Just above the footer on your homepage
        • Just above the footer on your product page

If you prefer to place the gallery yourself, click I’ll place it myself and then follow the instructions below for users of other platforms.

        Users of other platforms

        1. Click Copy Code.
        2. Paste the code snippet within the desired <div> on your site.
If you want to do this later or get someone else to do it, you can send the installation instructions to an email address of your choice. Just click Send code by email, enter the relevant email address, and click Send instructions.
