    To start using the Yotpo SMS & Email Marketing app, you must complete the validation process to ensure compliance and account setup. To initiate the validation process, here is the complete guide:

    Step 1: Disable store password

    1. Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.

    2. Go to Online Store > Preferences.

    3. Scroll to Restrict store access.

    4. Uncheck Restrict access to visitors with the password.

    5. Click Save.

    Step 2: Enable SMS Marketing

    1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings.

    2. Select Checkout.

    3. Under Marketing Options, check the SMS box.

    4. Click Save.

    Step 3: Update Privacy Policy

    1. Go to Settings > Policies.

    2. Scroll to Privacy Policy.

    4. Review and click Save.

    Step 4: Update Terms of Service

    1. Go to Settings > Policies.

    2. Scroll to Terms of Service.

    Step 5: Account Review

    After completing the above steps, your account will need to be reviewed by a support agent to ensure compliance and to initiate the validation. If you are marketing to customers outside the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, you can start sending SMS and emails.

    But if you are marketing to customers in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, you need to wait for your TFN to be verified. This will begin automatically and typically take up to 7 business days. You can check the status of your TFN at all times at Settings > General Settings > General tab > Global Sending Info. You’ll also be notified as soon as your TFN is successfully verified.
