Triple Whale - Integration Guide for Yotpo SMS & Email

Integrating Triple Whale and Yotpo SMS & Email allows you to track your marketing efforts, monitor your most important metrics, and understand how your campaigns and flows are performing.

Additionally, any Triple Whale customer with access to our SCDP (Smart Customer Data Platform) can now build custom segments within Triple Whale and sync them directly to Yotpo as lists.

About Triple Whale

Triple Whale gathers and centralizes the data that brands capture across all of the tools they use to market their business and presents it in a single place.

Connecting Yotpo and Triple Whale

To connect Triple Whale and Yotpo:

1. In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Integrations.

2. Find Triple Whale and click Connect.

3. Follow the authentication flow in Yotpo to connect the apps.

Once the apps are connected, Yotpo data will start flowing into the Triple Whale app.

Viewing Yotpo Email & SMS data in Triple Whale

To view Yotpo SMS & Email data, head over to the Summary page to track your most important metrics.

Yotpo “Spend” will now be calculated into your net profit.

For attribution, head to the Pixel page. Here, you can see your campaigns and flows, and measure the performance of each.

To get data flowing into your Pixel pages correctly, you’ll need to set up UTMs on each of your Yotpo SMS and Email campaigns.

To set up UTMs:

1. In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Settings > General Settings.

2. Select the Attribution tab.

3. In the utm_campaign parameter field, choose the Event name+event ID parameter value. To learn more about setting up your UTMs, click here.

Syncing CDP Segments to Yotpo Lists

Any lists synced with Yotpo will be updated as a list in your Yotpo account, daily based on the criteria you've set within Triple Whale.

To sync an SCDP segment to Yotpo:

1. In your Triple Whale segment builder, click the 3-dot symbol to the right of the segment

2. Select Manage Syncs > + Create Segment Sync.

3. Select Yotpo as a destination and click Submit.
