# Upgrading Your Visual UGC Carousel Gallery

You can upgrade your Legacy Visual UGC Carousel galleries to our new Carousel Galleries with a click of a button directly from the Yotpo admin!

The new gallery is designed for a mobile-first experience, optimized performance, and high accessibility standards, and has a brand-new adaptive bitrate video player - adjusting video quality based on network conditions to improve video streaming.

In this article, you’ll learn how to upgrade your existing carousel gallery.

## How it works

For each existing Legacy Carousel gallery instance you have in your account, a New Carousel Gallery (3.0 version) is automatically created.

All customizations from the old instances automatically carry over to 3.0 versions so you don’t even have to customize it.

## Upgrading your carousel gallery

**To upgrade a specific gallery:**

1. In your Yotpo Visual UGC main menu, go to **Galleries** > [**Photo Galleries 3.0**](https://reviews.yotpo.com/#/display-reviews/on-site-widgets/vugc-widget-galleries).
2. Every carousel gallery you have set up on Photo Galleries will appear here as well. Find the gallery you want to upgrade and click **Update to 3.0**. You will see all your existing gallery settings in the new gallery editor. You can make further customization if you want.
3. Click **Upgrade widget.**

> Please note:
> 
> The widget editor may take a minute to load since it is migrating all of your existing customizations to the new widget.

The upgraded version will replace the older version of the gallery on your site.

**To upgrade all existing galleries**:

You can upgrade each gallery individually, or choose the “Upgrade all” option and choose multiple galleries to upgrade at once.

## Reverting to the previous gallery version

If you’ve upgraded your gallery but wish to go back to the previous version:

1. In your Yotpo Visual UGC main menu, go to **Galleries** > [**Photo Galleries 3.0**](https://reviews.yotpo.com//#/display-reviews/on-site-widgets/vugc-widget-galleries).
2. Select the gallery you want to revert.
3. Click **Revert widget** in the bottom left corner.
4. Click **Revert widget** in the popup.

The on-site widget has reverted back to the previous version.
