Walmart Review Syndication Program

Goals and Outcomes
Use this guide to register for Walmart’s Review Syndication Program so your Yotpo product reviews can appear on Walmart.com product pages. In this article, you’ll learn how to register, what to send to Yotpo, and how to share an updated catalog when you add new items.
Before you start
You must be a Walmart Marketplace seller.
Have your Walmart Partner ID ready. (Not sure? See How to locate your Walmart Partner ID.)
Make sure you can export an Item Report from Walmart Seller Center.
Registration Process
Go to the Walmart Syndication Registration Portal.
Enter your Partner ID.
Note
If you can’t find it, see How to locate your Walmart Partner ID.
Complete the registration:
Fill in your Walmart Marketplace seller details:
First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Email Address
Website URL
Answer the questions:
Do you collect product reviews on your website? → Yes.
Do you moderate reviews for profanity, fraud, etc.? → Yes.
Do you use any review collection platform? → Yotpo.
Are you already syndicating reviews to Walmart through another partner? → No.
Important
Select No even if you use Yotpo. This makes clear that reviews won’t also be syndicated through another automated integration, preventing duplicate content. When automatic syndication resumes, we’ll pause manual imports to avoid duplication.
Are you the brand owner or brand manager? → Select Owner or Manager.
How many items on Walmart have reviews on your site? → Use the count from Yotpo’s email (or count published items in Seller Center).
How many total reviews for items sold on Walmart? → Use the count from Yotpo’s email.
For historical imports: Provide the total number of reviews you expect to see syndicated to Walmart from your previous provider.
For accounts with reviews already moderated: Log in to Yotpo. Under the Google & Syndication tab, retrieve the total count of syndicated reviews, or use the count from the Yotpo email. If you can’t find the exact number, enter your best estimate.
For reviews previously collected in Yotpo prior to syndication: Visit the Yotpo Moderation page and filter by Product Reviews to get the total.
Tick the box to accept Terms & Conditions.
Complete the Captcha.
Click Submit.
After registration
You’ll receive two emails from Walmart:
Welcome Email – Confirms registration (usually within a minute).
Registration Status Email – Approval or disapproval notice.
Important
Approval may take up to 5 business days.
Notify Yotpo
Send Yotpo your Partner ID / Supplier ID (or both) so we can syndicate your reviews.
Forward both Walmart emails (from the previous step) to walmart-notifications@yotpo.com.
If you receive a disapproval notice, forward it to Yotpo for next steps.
Export your Walmart items with Item ID, SKU, and GTIN so we can create matches (see Send your updated Walmart catalog below).
Post-approval process
Once approved, Yotpo will prepare your import file.
You may receive follow-up approval confirmations from Walmart after files are imported (to validate legitimacy).
Please approve these emails.
Alternatively, set up auto-forwarding for syndication@walmart.com to walmart-notifications@yotpo.com, so Yotpo can approve on your behalf.
You are now enrolled in Walmart’s Review Syndication Program!
Send your updated Walmart catalog (for items added after September 1, 2025)
If you’ve added new items to Walmart after September 1, 2025, share your latest catalog so we can map reviews to those new Item IDs. (Use the full date range below; Yotpo will filter on our side.)
A) Generate the Item Report in Seller Center
In Seller Center, go to Reports → Items and click Request Report.
Set the parameters:
Report Type: Item Report
Publish Status: Published
Fulfillment Type: Select what you use (any you fulfill)
Item Creation Date: Start 01/01/2000 → End today
Item Last Updated: Start 01/01/2000 → End today
Submit the request. When Status = Ready (may take a few minutes), download the report.
B) Send it to Yotpo
If you have a CSM: email the file to your CSM (reply in the same thread).
If you don’t have a CSM / Pro accounts, open a Support case titled “Walmart Syndication – Catalog Update” and attach the report.
C) Do I need to send this every time?
Yes – if you’ve added new products to your Walmart store since September 1, 2025, or for any new additions going forward.
No – if no new products were added, no catalog update is needed right now.
