Finding Product IDs in your eCommerce Platform

In this article, you'll learn how to find the product IDs for the products in your catalog.

Finding product IDs

Use this method to find your product IDs on any eCommerce platform. This method is relevant if you already installed the Reviews Widget and/or if you're using a generic platform.

Please note that this method lets you find only 1 product ID at a time.To find a product ID:

1. Log in to your store.
2. Open the product page.
3. Right-click and select Inspect.
4. Press Ctrl+F and search for yotpo-main in the code. The data-product ID variable and its value appear in the Yotpo div:

Shopify

1. Open the product page for which you want to find the review.
2. Right-click and view the page source.
3. Search for the keyword "rid". The number next to it is the relevant product ID.

BigCommerce

To import reviews to Yotpo, you will need to supply us with the correct product IDs for the products being reviewed. Here's how to find this in BigCommerce.

1. Open the product page for which you want to find the review.
2. Right click and then open up the source code of the page.
3. Search this document for "product_id=" and the number next to this is the relevant ID.

WooCommerce

To import reviews to Yotpo or move reviews, you will need to supply us with the correct product IDs for the products being reviewed.

Adobe Commerce (Magento)

To import reviews to Yotpo, you will need to supply us with the correct product IDs for the products being reviewed.

The product ID in Adobe Commerce is the Adobe Commerce Product ID and not the SKU.
