    You can generate various reports about your loyalty and referrals programs by going to the Reports page of Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals.

    The reports section allows you to generate reports on the following metrics:

    Report nameDescription
    Earning historyA report containing an account of all the actions your customers have taken and earned points for.
    Redemptions historyThis report shows all of the redemptions your customers made. For example: any coupon code they receive, if they earn a VIP tier, etc.
    CustomersExport your customers to a CSV file. The file will include the customers' email addresses, first names, last names, current points balances, and a referral link for each customer.
    Referral link summaryThis report will list out how each referral link is doing (how many customers clicked & how many purchased).
    Referral activityReferral Activity Report - This report will show data about customers who were referred, containing information such as where they came from, if they created an account, if they purchased, etc.
    UnsubscribersShows a list of customers that unsubscribed from loyalty emails (on the Yotpo platform only) 

    Accessing the reports section

    In Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals, go to Analytics > Reports.

    Report options

    Below you'll find all the different reports you can produce via the Exports section:

    Earning history

    The actions report shows all the actions your customers have taken and earned points for. This report includes a line item for: 

    • Every time an earning rule is completed (for example Points for Purchases, Create an Account, etc.)
    • When points expire. 
    • When a manual adjustment is made through the customer's profile page (whether it is to add/remove points). 
    • When a customer opts out of loyalty (and loses their points as a result).
    Earning history report fields

    The actions report shows all the actions your customers have taken and earned points for.

    • date_completed - The date that the points were awarded for completing the action
    • first_name - The first name of the customer that completed the action
    • last_name - The surname of the customer who completed the action
    • email - The email address of the customer who completed this action
    • description - The title of the earning rule/action that was completed
    • points - The total number of points earned for completing this specific action
    • orders - The order ID will populate here if it's related to a spend-based campaign
    • points_expiration_date - The date when the earned points will expire

    Redemptions history 

    The redemptions report shows all of the redemptions your customers made. For example: any coupon code they receive, if they earn a VIP tier, etc.

    This report includes a line item for:

    • Every time a redemption takes place. 
    • When "Create Redemption" is used through the customer's profile page. 
    Redemptions history report fields
    • date
      • The date the redemption occurred (not when the redemption was actually used).
    • first_name
      • The first name of the customer that redeemed (if available).
    • last_name
      • The surname of the customer that redeemed (if available).
    • email
      • The email address of the customer that redeemed.
    • coupon_type
      • The type of coupon the customer redeemed
    • description
      • The name of the redemption option that was redeemed ("name" refers to the feature setting within the redemption option).
    • points
      • The total number of points deducted from the customer for this redemption option.
    • discount_id
      • The ID of the discount code on the eCommerce platform.
    • discount_code
      • The discount code that was redeemed with points.
    • times_used
      • The number of times the discount was redeemed at checkout. This may show multiple redemptions in cases where a multiple-use coupon is used on checkout.
    • amount_used_cents
      • Only populates for gift cards as gift cards can still retain a balance.
        e.g. A fixed amount of $50 gift card is redeemed and only $25 of it is used.
    • order_id
      • If the redemption option was used, this would populate with the order ID it was used on within the eCommerce platform.
    • recharge_order
      • This column will only populate if the Recharge integration is enabled. Values can be Yes/No
    • source
      • The source where the redemption was made - on-site widgets, POS, API, etc.

    Customers

    Export your customers to a CSV file. The file will include the customer's email address, first name, last name, current points balance, and a referral link for each customer.

    Customers report fields
    • email
      • The customer's email address.
    • first_name
      • The customer's first name. 
    • last_name
      • The customer's surname.
    • points_earned
      • The total amount of points earned over the duration of the customer lifetime.
    • points_balance
      • The current point balance available for redemption. 
    • referral_link
      • The customer's referral link.
    • referred_by
      • This field populates with the referrer name if this customer was referred by someone to the store via Loyalty & Referrals.
    • last_seen
      • The last registered date that this customer performed an action/activity within the Loyalty & Referrals system.  
    • vip_tier
      • The name of the customer's current VIP Tier status.
    • birth_month
      • The month the customer submitted in the Happy Birthday campaign.
    • birth_day
      • The day the customer submitted in the Happy Birthday campaign.
    • birth_year
      • The year the customer submitted in the Happy Birthday campaign.
    • anniversary_month
      • The month the customer submitted in the Happy Anniversary campaign.
    • anniversary_day
      • The day the customer submitted in the Happy Anniversary campaign.
    • anniversary_year
      • The year the customer submitted in the Happy Anniversary campaign.
    • created_at
      • The day the customer was created in the Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals database. Customers who existed prior to integrating Loyalty and Referrals with your eCommerce platform will appear as having the same created_at date (the date the initial integration took place). Any customers created post-integration will be created as soon as the customer is created within the eCommerce platform.
    • phone_number
      • The customer's phone number
    • loyalty_member
    • opt_in_date
      • The date the customer has opted into loyalty 

    Referral link summary

    The referral summary report Shows the performance of each referral link, including the number of customers who clicked the link and how many completed a purchase.

    Referral link summary report fields
    • first_name
      • The referrer's first name (if available).
    • last_name
      • The referrer's surname (if available).
    • email
      • The referrer's email address.
    • code
      • The alphanumeric characters appended to the referrer's referral link.
    • clicks
      • The total number of clicks made on the referral link.
    • links_clicked
      • Unique clicks on the link where "unique" is determined by IP and user agent.
    • shares
      • The total amount of shares across all channels (aggregated from Facebook, Twitter, SMS, and email shares).
    • facebook_shares
      • The number of times "Share referral via Facebook" is clicked from the storefront. This metric may fluctuate as it is cached in local storage and may be affected if the browser cache is cleared or a different browser is used. 
    • twitter_shares
      • The number of times "Share referral via Twitter" is clicked from the storefront. This metric may fluctuate as it is cached in local storage and may be affected if the browser cache is cleared or a different browser is used. 
    • email_shares
      • The number of times referrals are shared via email / "share via email" icon is clicked.
    • orders
      • The number of orders placed by customers who clicked this referral link. They are identified by the IP + user agent that clicked on the referral link. This does not necessarily mean that the referral was "successful" and met all the referral campaign requirements. 
    • amount_cents
      • The total order value in cents made by customers who clicked this referral link. They are identified by the IP + user agent that clicked on the referral link. This does not necessarily mean that the referral was "successful" and met all the referral campaign requirements. 

    Referral activity

    The referral activity report shows data about referred customers, including information on the origin of referred customers, whether they created an account, made a purchase, etc.

    Referral activity report fields
    • date
      • The date the referral link was shared to the referred customer.
    • first_name
      • The first name of the referred customer who clicked the referral link.
    • last_name
      • The surname of the referred customer who clicked the referral link.
    • referrer_email
      • The email address of the person who referred the customer to your store.
    • referred_user_email
      • The email address of the customer who clicked the referral link.
    • signed_up_at
      • This is set the moment a customer record is saved in our database. This could be an account creation, newsletter signup, a purchase, etc.
    • completed_at
      • Set when the referrer receives the reward for completing the referral campaign. As such, merely making a purchase may not be sufficient as all referral campaign requirements must be satisfied.
    • link_share_type
      • The type of link that your customer was referred from. This is appended to the link based on how the referrer shared the link with the referred customer. This could be Facebook, Messenger, SMS, Twitter, email, copy link, or N/A.

    Unsubscribes

    This report includes all customers who've unsubscribed from any Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals email. This type of export is particularly useful if you are using an external email service provider (such as MailChimp) and want to remove customers who have unsubscribed.

    Please note:
    Both the Action Report and the Redemption Report can be modified to show the exact dates you would like to explore.

    To create a report for a specific date range, simply enter the Start Date and an End Date of the report you wish to produce:

    The exported file of your choice will be sent to the email address you chose when exporting the report and will contain a link that allows you to download the file.

    Exporting a list of customers

    You can use this feature to export your customers to a CSV file with the following details:

    • Email address
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Current points balance
    • Referral link for each customer

    To export this list:

    1. In Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals, go to Customers.
    2.  Click the Export button at the top right corner:
