It can be challenging to reach and maintain your Google seller rating quota when you’re trying to collect as many product reviews as possible. Using Yotpo 2-in-1 review requests, you can generate more site reviews without compromising on product review requests.

In this article, you'll learn how to collect site reviews using our 2-in-1 solution. If you're already collecting site reviews and want to learn how to generate more, see this article

        How it works

To display seller ratings in Google Ads and Google Shopping, you must have at least 100 verified site reviews over the past 12 months per country. Learn more about Google seller rating requirements

We offer a two pronged approach to collecting site reviews:

        1. Define your desired ratio between product review requests and site review requests.
Use the slider to define the ratio between customers who receive a product review request and a site review request. For example, if you set the slider to 80% product requests and 20% site review requests, then 80% of the automatic review requests you send out will be product review requests and 20% will be site review requests.

        2. Keep 2-in-1 reviews enabled.
This ensures that customers who submit a product review are requested to write a site review right after. By collecting both product and site reviews in one email flow, you can boost your site reviews without sending out fewer product review requests.

        Before you start

Before you start collecting site reviews, make sure that seller ratings are activated in your Yotpo account. Learn more

        Activating 2-in-1 reviews

        To activate 2-in-1 reviews:

        1. In your Yotpo Reviews main menu, go to Emails > Site Reviews.
        2. Adjust the slider according to your desired ratio of site and product review emails.
        3. Turn on the toggle under 2-in-1 Reviews.
        Tip:
If your store is new and you want to reach your Google seller rating quota as fast as possible, we recommend you set the percentage of site reviews to at least 30%. Once you’ve reached your quota, you can reduce the percentage of site review requests.

        FAQ

Will activating 2-in-1 reviews reduce the number of product reviews I collect?

No, it won’t! Your customers will receive the product review request first, and only once they’ve submitted it will they receive a site review request. You’ll be sending out the same number of product review requests but gaining site reviews as a bonus.

Do 2-in-1 review requests work with reminder emails?

Yes! If reminder emails are activated, your customer will receive a site review request right after submitting their product review.

How can I see a preview of the 2-in-1 review form?

Make sure that 2-in-1 review requests are enabled, then just send a test email. You’ll see the site review request on the opened landing page.

Do 2-in-1 review requests work for manual review requests?

No, 2-in-1 review requests work for automatic review requests only.

Can you customize 2-in-1 review requests?

We provide an out-of-the-box request form for you to use for your 2-in-1 review requests. If you want to customize it according to your own needs, you can use the landing page editor.

How does this work with multiple product reviews?

If a customer is requested to review multiple products, they will only be asked to write a site review once.
