Flows Analytics Overview
The Flow Analytics dashboard in Yotpo SMS & Email gives all of the detailed insight into how your flows are performing. Use the Flow Analytics dashboard to review flows performance and easily adjust and improve your strategy accordingly.
In this article, you'll learn how to view and understand your flows’ data.
Getting started
In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Analytics > Flow Analytics.
Viewing Your Flow Analytics
Business Performance
Here, you'll find an overview of your flows and their performance based on these metrics:
Revenue - the revenue generated from all flows on the selected time period
Orders - the number of orders made by customers from all of the flows
Average order value - the average price of an order from all of the flows
Sent messages - the number of messages sent from the all of the flows
Note
Your key metrics data is updated every 3 hours.
By selecting a timeframe and the Trend comparison filter, we automatically display how your key metrics change over time, shown as percentages on each metric’s card. The comparison period aligns with your chosen timeframe—for example, selecting a month compares it to the previous month, while a quarter compares it to the previous quarter.
Note
The data for the entire Flow Analytics dashboard will reflect the timeframe you have selected.
Performance Over Time
Here, you can view your key metrics values by both combined and individual SMS and email channels as well as by day, week, and month. Simply select the channel and timeframe from the dropdown lists.
Detailed Breakdown
In the Detailed breakdown section, you can view the following metrics by each flow:
Sent: the number of messages sent from the current flow
Revenue: the total revenue generated from this exact flow
Open rate: the percentage of unique opens out of all delivered emails
Click rate: the clicks from customers, divided by the total number of delivered text messages within this flow. Remember that with transactional messages such as shipping confirmation or order delay, your CTRs might be 0% simply because the messages in the particular flow might not have a call-to-action link
Conversion rate: the percentage of orders compared to the number of sent messages
AOV: the average price of an order from the flow
Unsubscribe Rate: the number of unsubscribes divided by the number of messages delivered
Soft Bounce: the percentage of email that reached the recipient’s email server but were rejected temporarily
Hard Bounce: the percentage of email messages that were permanently rejected
Note
For flows not using email messages, the Open rate will show as 0.0% since this metric only applies to email messages.
If you are using both SMS and email in your flow, you can expand this section by clicking on the arrow to the right of the row. This expanded view displays the data by channel as well as with a comparison to the previous period. You can order the flows according to each metric by clicking the arrow next to the metric to display them in either ascending or descending order. Additionally, you can also filter the table to show specific flows. By default, all flows which are currently in draft state are skipped. Draft flows can be included by unchecking the Skip inactive flows checkbox.
In the filter box, flows are separated into four categories:
Acquisition
Purchase
Retention
Advocacy
If you have specialized flows, you may also see two additional dynamic categories:
Custom
Integrations
Note
These additional categories are only available if you have flows that match.
To view the single flow analytics for individual flows, click the See analytics button to the right of the flow row.
