Customer Detail Conditions Overview

Using the customer details conditions, you can manage your audience by focusing on creating strong SMS marketing campaigns for customers who fall under specific categories.

In this article you will learn how to create a dynamic segment that collects and adds new customers who correspond to different customer details.

Getting Started

In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Audience > Lists & Segments.

  1. Click Create audience.

  2. In the popup, select Build manually and click Create audience.

Creating a Segment with Customer Details

In the segment builder, you build your segments using many different conditions. Follow the steps below to locate and use the Customer details conditions:

  1. From the dropdown menu, select the Customer details category to view the conditions.

  2. Choose a condition and specify the definition for your segment. For example, to select only customers who are part of a list, select the Part of a list condition and specify the definition with the list you want to use, specify the time frame and as is true.

  3. When you’ve selected and specified all of the conditions you want, click the pencil icon at the top of the builder to rename the segment.

  4. Click Save segment.

Edit a Segment

You can change the conditions you defined for your segment or a predefined segment at any time. Upon changing the conditions, your segment will be dynamically updated right away. To edit a segment, do the following:

  1. Next to the relevant segment, click Edit segment conditions.

  2. Update the conditions.

  3. When you’re done, click Save segment.

Custom profile property

Whether or not a customer has a specified custom profile property

Part of a list

Whether or not a customer is part of a specified list within a specified time frame

Part of a segment

Whether or not a customer is part of a specified segment

Gender

Whether or not a customer is a specified gender

Birthday

Whether or not a customer’s birthday is within a specified time frame

Country or area

Whether or not a customer is in a specified country or geographical area

Phone country code

Whether or not a customer’s phone number is from a specified country

Proximity to location

Whether or not a customer is within a specified distance of a specified location

EU residency

Whether or not a customer is an EU resident

Tags

Whether or not a customer has a specified tag

Shopify account status

Whether or not a customer’s Shopify account has a specified status

Shopify account created

Whether or not a customer’s Shopify account was created within a specified time frame

Now target your new segment with a marketing campaign.
