        Yotpo Subscriptions offers merchants a Free plan and an Unlimited plan.

        The Free plan allows you to process up to $500 in revenue from subscriptions, while the Unlimited plan allows you to process unlimited orders and revenue.

        Once you download the Yotpo Subscriptions app, you’ll automatically be on our Free plan.

        The Free plan allows you to explore and enjoy all Yotpo Subscriptions features free of charge:

        Important:
        The Free plan allows you to process up to $500 in subscriptions revenue. Beyond that point, you need to upgrade to the Unlimited plan to continue selling subscriptions.t goes here

        Reaching the Free plan limit

        Once you’ve processed $500 in subscriptions revenue, the Yotpo Subscriptions Widget will be removed from your product pages, and shoppers will no longer be able to place new subscription orders.

        Don’t worry. You’ll still be able to process and manage orders for subscriptions that were purchased before you reached the limit.   

        If for some reason you reached your Free plan’s $500 limit, and have not yet upgraded to Unlimited, you can still upgrade at any point, and resume subscriptions on your store.

        Tip:
        To avoid reaching the Free plan’s $500 limit, and still enjoy a free $500 in revenue each month — we recommend all our merchants to upgrade to the Unlimited plan as soon as possible.

        Free plan FAQs

        What’s the difference between the Free and the Unlimited plan?

        Both the Free plan and the Unlimited plan have no setup fees, and no monthly fixed fees. Both plans give you access to all Yotpo Subscription features

        The Free plan, however, allows you to process up to $500 in revenue from subscription orders in total. After that you won’t be able to sell anymore new subscriptions on your store. With the Unlimited plan, you can process unlimited subscription orders, without any revenue limit. Learn more about the Free plan or the Unlimited plan

        What happens if I reach the Free plan limit?

        If you’re on the Free plan and have processed $500 in subscriptions revenue, the Subscription Widget will be removed from your store, and shoppers will no longer be able to place new subscription orders. You’ll still be able to process and manage orders for subscriptions that have already been purchased.

        To avoid reaching the Free plan’s $500 limit, or if you’ve already reached this limit, upgrade to the Unlimited plan as soon as possible.

        How do I know how much revenue I’ve made from subscriptions?

        To see the revenue you’ve made from Yotpo Subscriptions so far, follow these steps:

        1. Log into Yotpo Subscriptions.
        2. Select theicon on the upper-right corner of your screen.
        3. Choose Account settings.
        4. Select Billing.
        5. The number that appears in the USAGE FEES column for the. Subscriptions Free plan reflects your current revenue from subscriptions.
        Are there any charges on the Free plan?

        No. There are absolutely no charges on the Free plan.

        Does the Free plan expire?

        No. You can stay on the Free plan as long as you like. However, after you reach the Free plan’s $500 limit, you can no longer sell subscriptions on your store.

        Why upgrade to Unlimited?

        By upgrading to Unlimited, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. On the Unlimited plan, you can still process up to $500 in subscriptions revenue at no cost, but you never have to worry about reaching the limit and missing out on new subscription orders.         How do I upgrade to the Unlimited plan?

        You can easily upgrade to the Unlimited plan directly from 3 different locations:

        1. From your initial setup. Once you've completed the initial setup, you'll be prompted to upgrade to the Unlimited plan. We recommend this option since it allows you to get on the Unlimited plan from the get-go and never have to worry about reaching your Free plan's limit.
        2. From an upgrade banner that will always be available to you on your Yotpo Subscriptions homepage.
        3. Once you're close to your Free plan's revenue limit, we'll send you an email you can upgrade from. 

        Once you've chosen to upgrade from either of these locations, we’ll direct you to your Shopify admin to review and approve Yotpo Subscriptions Unlimited plan details. No further payment details or billing information needed. Learn more about Unlimited billing

        Can I cancel my Free plan?

        Yes. If you ever decide that Yotpo Subscriptions isn’t the best solution for your business, you can contact support and we’ll be happy to help.

        About the Unlimited plan

        The Unlimited plan is a risk-free, usage-based plan suitable for all merchants, regardless of your business size or revenue.

        Why choose Unlimited?

        When you go from the Free plan to the Unlimited plan, you’re able to process unlimited subscription orders, without any revenue limit.

        The main reason to upgrade to Unlimited is that you pay nothing on subscriptions revenue up to $500, just like on our Free plan. But unlike the Free plan, you’ll never experience a subscriptions shut-down as you would if you reached the Free plan’s revenue limit.

        With the Unlimited plan, you can grow your business without interruptions, and without ever missing out on new subscription orders.

        Unlimited plan charges

        The Unlimited plan is a zero-risk, usage-based plan that helps merchants grow by making sure you only pay for what you sell.

        There are absolutely no setup fees or monthly fixed fees, and you can cancel anytime.

        How will you be charged?

        Each month we check the revenue you’ve made from subscription orders.

        Based on your revenue, here’s how you’ll be charged: 

        1. If you’ve made up to $500 from subscription orders that month, you pay absolutely nothing. 
        2. If you’ve made more than $500 from subscription orders that month, you’ll only pay 1% on your revenue above $500.

        For example: If you’ve made $2,000 from selling subscriptions in March, your Yotpo Subscriptions charges in March will be $15 (that’s 1% of your revenue minus the free $500). But if the following month, in April, your sales were lower and you only made $500 from subscriptions, you won’t pay anything in April.

        Please note:
        1. Monthly charges from Yotpo Subscriptions are calculated on a monthly basis based on your Shopify 30-day billing period, and will appear on your Shopify invoices. You can view all charges from the Billing page in your Shopify admin. Learn more about Unlimited billing.

        2. When we calculate your subscriptions revenue each month, we include taxes & shipping charges, as well as revenue from one-time orders that were purchased together with subscription orders.

        Unlimited billing

        • Billing for Yotpo Subscriptions Unlimited is processed directly through Shopify. 
        • All charges from Yotpo Subscriptions will appear on your monthly Shopify invoices. 
        • Billing takes place each month, at the same time as your Shopify billing date.

        Please note:
        Monthly usage charges from Yotpo Subscriptions may appear in two separate Shopify invoices depending on where the usage charges fall within your Shopify billing cycle. Learn more about billing cycles & app usage charges in Shopify.

        Unlimited payment method

        Your payment method for Yotpo Subscriptions charges is the same as the payment method you have stored in your Shopify admin.

        To view or update your payment method, go to the Payment methods section of the Billing page in your Shopify admin. Learn more about Shopify payment methods.

        Viewing monthly charges

        To view charges from Yotpo Subscriptions, go to the Bills section of the Billing page in your Shopify admin. Learn more about your Shopify billing.

        Upgrading to Unlimited

        You can easily upgrade to the Unlimited directly from Yotpo Subscriptions, or from the email notifications you’ll receive from us.

        Once you choose to upgrade from one of these locations, we’ll direct you to your Shopify admin to review and approve the Yotpo Subscriptions Unlimited plan details.

        How much will I be charged?

        You pay only 1% on subscriptions revenue above $500, calculated monthly. Learn more about Unlimited charges.

        Are there any fees or charges beyond the 1% charges on subscriptions revenue?

        No. You won’t incur any additional fees or charges beyond the charges on subscriptions revenue.

        Which payment method will be charged?

        The payment method that will be used for charges in Yotpo Subscriptions is the same as the payment method you have stored in your Shopify admin. 

        To view or update your payment method, go to the Payment methods section of the Billing page in your Shopify admin. Learn more about Shopify payment methods.

        Do I need to enter my payment details?

        No. You can upgrade to Unlimited anytime without entering your payment details, and without providing any other billing information. All charges from Yotpo Subscriptions are processed directly through Shopify, using your stored payment method in Shopify. All you need to do is approve the Yotpo Subscriptions Unlimited payment details in your Shopify admin. Learn more.

        How often will I be billed?

        Billing is processed through Shopify each month, at the same time as your Shopify billing date. Learn more about Unlimited billing.

        Where can I see my Yotpo Subscription charges?

        To view charges from Yotpo Subscriptions, go to the Bills section of the Billing page in your Shopify admin. Learn more about your Shopify billing

        How do I know how much revenue I’ve made from subscriptions this month?

        To see how much revenue you’ve made from subscriptions this month, follow these steps:

        1. Log into  Yotpo Subscriptions.
        2. Select the  icon on the upper-right corner of your screen
        3. Choose Account settings.
        4. Select Billing.
        5. Find the number that appears in the USAGE FEES column for the Subscriptions Unlimited plan.
        6. Add $500 to the number you see in the USAGE FEES column to get your current revenue. You need to add $500 because we do not charge for your first $500 in revenue each month, and do not include it in your usage.
        Why am I being billed two times for the same 30-day billing cycle?

        If you incur usage charges from Yotpo Subscriptions after your Shopify cycle has ended but before our billing cycle starts over, then the usage charges from the previous cycle will appear on your next Shopify bill. Learn more about app charges in Shopify

        Can I go back to the Free plan later on?

        You can downgrade your plan at any time. To go back on the Free plan, follow these steps:

        1. Log into Yotpo Subscriptions.
        2. Select the icon on the upper-right corner of your screen.
        3. Choose Account settings
        4. Select Billing
        5. Select Edit from the plan you want to cancel
        6. Select Cancel plan

        What is your cancellation policy?

        You can cancel your plan at anytime. Cancellation takes effect immediately, and you won’t be charged for anything beyond that point.

        Is there a contract?

        No. There is no contract to use Yotpo Subscriptions. Charges are based on your revenue, and you can cancel anytime.

        I was charged too much, can I get a refund?
