The SMS Campaign Planner helps you stay on top of key calendar dates, choose among various pre-built templates with actionable copy, and map out your upcoming SMS campaigns through built-in scheduling suggestions. You can expect to engage with your audience effectively and send high-converting messages.
SMS Campaign Planner Overview
The SMS Campaign Planner provides a quick overview of all important calendar events in the next few weeks. Each event recommendation comes with a date, a short description, and a few category tags to help you decide whether it is a suitable occasion for your brand to send an SMS campaign.
Locating the SMS Campaign Planner
Go to your Yotpo SMS & Email Dashboard, click on Campaigns → Campaign Planner, and you will see an overview of all important calendar events.
Using the SMS Campaign Planner
Scroll through the date cards to explore all the suggested campaigns organized by date.
Choose an event and click on the Customize & schedule button.
You will be taken to the SMS campaign editor with the pre-built campaign draft.
Choose a target audience and customize the message to fit your brand voice.
Some campaigns will have default discounts that you can further customize using the discounts box.
Adjust the scheduled date and time, and ensure the Send in the subscriber’s local time zone checkbox is selected.
Send yourself a test message, or preview and send the campaign.
Note
You can cancel a scheduled campaign by clicking on Cancel in the campaign dashboard.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Message Wasn’t Sent Out on Time
If your message wasn't sent out on time, please check the scheduled date and time settings and ensure the Send in the subscriber’s local time zone checkbox is selected. If the issue persists, contact Yotpo Support for further assistance.
Country Restrictions
You can send SMS messages outside the US, CA, and PR. Ensure you are compliant with the country-specific regulations before sending.
Checking Scheduled Campaigns
To ensure your scheduled campaigns will be sent out as planned, regularly check the Campaign Dashboard and verify your campaign’s settings. Contact support if you encounter any issues.
Check SMS Campaign Issue
If your SMS campaign will not send and prompts you to contact support, please do so immediately to resolve the issue and ensure your campaign is delivered.
