Yotpo’s integration with SoPost enables brands to collect post-trial consumer ratings and reviews using the SoPost platform and then automatically syndicate these reviews to their Yotpo Store.

    Integration benefits

Product trial is a key mechanism for review generation. By creating a seamless flow of review data from the point of collection (SoPost) to publication (Yotpo), this integration saves time and effort, ensuring the review content gets to work on the important job of driving sales for the brand immediately with minimal manual intervention.

    How it works

This integration allows you to syndicate your campaign review responses to your Yotpo Store.

Reviews will only be syndicated if fields in addition to the standard review questions below are optional.

    • Review Title
    • Review Text
    • Star Rating

If your Yotpo account or product requires custom questions to be answered, your reviews will not be syndicated.

    Before you begin

In order to connect Yotpo to your SoPost account, you’ll need the following details:

You must also reach out to your Yotpo CSM or Yotpo Support so that they can enable the ‘Trusted Vendor’ and ‘Order MetaData’ features for you. If you don’t enable these features according to the pre-defined settings with Octoly, your reviews will not be syndicated.

    Integrating Yotpo and SoPost

You can follow the steps below, or provide your SoPost Account Manager with your Yotpo API details to complete the setup of your Yotpo integration on your behalf.

    To set up the integration:

    1. Log into your SoPost account.
    2. On the bottom left of the screen, select User Profile.
    3. Select Settings, and then Integrations. Here you can see all of your available integrations.
    4. Select Yotpo.
    5. On the top right, click Add a new key. A new window opens.
    6. Enter your Yotpo name, app key, and API secret. Please note that by sharing your secret key with the partner, you’re giving them read and write access to your Yotpo data.
    7. Click Add key. The screen displays your new connection to Yotpo.

Your SoPost Account Manager will now complete the setup of your campaign to ensure the reviews you collect will be syndicated.
