Swym Back in Stock Alerts Integration Guide for Yotpo SMS & Email

The Swym Back in Stock Alerts app integration with Yotpo SMS & Email lets you send SMS and email alerts for back-in-stock items.
The integration includes the following email triggers:
- Automatic acknowledgment notifications when a shopper signs up for a restock alert
- Automatic alerts when a product is restocked
- Reminders about restocked products that the shopper was alerted about
In this article, you’ll learn how to set up the integration between Yotpo and Swym.
About Swym Back in Stock Alerts
The Swym Back in Stock Alerts app enables shoppers to sign up for alerts when out-of-stock and pre-order items become back in stock. Maximize sales by capturing demand before you have inventory.
Connecting Swym Back in Stock Alerts with Yotpo
Merchants on the Swym Pro plan or above that have an account with Yotpo SMS & Email.
To connect Swym and Yotpo, follow these steps:
- Log into the Swym admin and go to More > Integrations. If you’re already logged in, click this link and skip to Step 3.
- In the Yotpo SMS & Email card, click Configure.
- In the Swym Back in Stock Alerts card, click Connect If you're not logged in, this will redirect you to the Yotpo login page.
- Click **Connect **and follow the connection guide.
- Once the apps are connected, you will be redirected back to the Swym admin. On this page, you can choose the event triggers sent to Yotpo SMS & Email.
- On the top-right corner of the screen, click Save.
You’ve now successfully set up the connection between Swym Back in Stock Alerts and Yotpo SMS & Email. The triggers you set up in the previous step will be sent to Yotpo SMS & Email as events.
Next. set up flows in Yotpo SMS & Email for each trigger you’ve enabled.
Setting up Swym Back in Stock flows
For each flow you create on the Yotpo platform, some shortcodes can be used in Actions and in Conditions, which we’ve listed below, along with a snapshot of a sample flow.
While creating the flows, you need to add in a Condition so that the trigger sends either an SMS or email alert based on which medium the shopper has subscribed to:
- If the customer has subscribed to out-of-stock emails, then the action block should have the “Medium = email” condition
- If the customer has subscribed to out-of-stock text messages, then the action block should have the “Medium = SMS” condition

Disabling Yotpo SMS & Email in Swym Back in Stock
If at any point, you want to stop events from being sent to Yotpo SMS & Email, go to the Yotpo integration page in Swym and click Disable.
This will retain your settings but temporarily stop information from flowing into Yotpo SMS & Email from the Swym Back in Stock Alerts app.
Uninstalling Yotpo SMS & Email in Swym Back in Stock
If you want to completely disconnect Yotpo SMS & Email and Swym Back in Stock Alerts, click Uninstall.
Uninstalling the app will revert the permissions and disable any triggers you’ve set up.
