Test Emails Overview
When you want to preview your email campaign before sending it to customers, you can send a test email. This test email will allow you to view the email as your customers would when it appears in their inbox. There are three ways to send test emails, with email campaigns, multi-message campaigns, and flows. In this article you will learn how to use each one.
Sending Test Emails
Email Campaigns
In an email campaign, you will see the Send test button in the upper right corner next to the Send now button.
Click the Send test button to open a dialog box.
In the box, type the email addresses you want to send your test email, adding commas between each.
Click the send button next to the box to send the test email.
Multi-Message Campaigns
In a multi-message campaign, you will see the Send test button in the upper right corner next to the Send now button.
Click the Send test button to open a dialog box.
In the box, type the email addresses you want to send your test email, adding commas between each.
Click the send button next to the box to send the test email.
After sending your test email, several minutes may pass before it arrives in your inbox. If you have authenticated your domain you will see the sender as noreply@[your_domain].com. If you have not authenticated your domain you will see the sender as noreply@emailer.yotpomail.com.
Note
When sending test messages from campaigns and flows, the sender email will be the sender email you have specified for that campaign or flow.
