Integrating MailChimp in SMS & Email
Before you start, make sure you have an active MailChimp account.
Step 1: In your Yotpo SMS & Email main menu, go to Integrations. Click MailChimp.
Step 2: You’ll see the dedicated MailChimp page where you can review the integration’s features. Click on the Install button.
Step 3: A new window will appear. Enter your existing MailChimp username and password, Log in and authorize the integration.
Step 4: After successfully installing MailChimp, you can sync your audiences with SMS & Email and run high-converting SMS campaigns. Click Continue to move on to the next step.
Step 5: Now, all you have to do is enable the installed integration and complete the synchronization.
First, you can enable the optional Sync SMS & Email to Mailchimp feature from the toggle button and choose the Mailchimp audience to sync the contacts to.
Now sync your Mailchimp audiences to SMS & Email by clicking on Sync Lists.
You’ll see a green pop-up confirming your MailChimp contacts are now synced.
Every time you create a new audience in MailChimp, you have to Sync Lists, so the new audience appears in your Yotpo SMS & Email list.
You can see your synced MailChimp contacts in the Lists & Segments section as one of your lists.
Syncing SMS & Email to Mailchimp will only sync contacts from the Mailchimp Subscribers List in SMS & Email.
Important:
Keep in mind that the sync will only transfer MailChimp contacts with phone numbers. This is why you might see a smaller amount of contacts in your SMS & Email Lists after the sync.
