    Quick Setup Steps

    1.  Authenticate Your Sending Domain

    Applies to: Email only

    Ensure high deliverability and avoid spam filters by authenticating your domain.

    Estimated time: 10 mins

    1. Go to Settings > General Settings > Email Settings.

    2. Scroll to Dedicated sending domain, click Get started.

    3. Enter your "From" domain and (optionally) your subdomain, click Next.

    4. Add the CNAME records to your DNS provider.

    5. Click Verify records.

    6. If you don’t have a DMARC record, we recommend adding one.

    2. Set Up Your Sender Details

    Applies to: Email only

    Personalize sender name and email address to enhance brand trust.

    Estimated time: 2 mins

    1. Go to Settings > General Settings > Email Settings.

    2. Enter your Sender’s name.

    3. Enter your Email address, click Add email.

    4. Verify your email address via the inbox link.

    3. Warm up Your Sending Domain

    Applies to: Email only

    Warming up your domain is a crucial step in establishing a positive reputation for your email sending infrastructure. It involves gradually increasing the volume of emails sent from your domain to build trust with internet service providers (ISPs) and ensure high deliverability rates.

    Estimated warm-up time: 4+ weeks

    4. Import Customers (Email/SMS Subscribers)

    Applies to: Email & SMS

    Upload your existing subscriber list and start managing your audience.

    Estimated time: 20 mins

    1. Go to Audience > Lists & Segments.

    2. Click Create audience > Create from a list.

    3. Upload your CSV file via the wizard.

    5. Configure Your Compliance Settings

    Applies to: Email & SMS

    Customize Yotpo SMS & Email to suit your business needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

    Estimated time: 5 mins

    1. In Yotpo SMS & Email, go to Settings > General Settings.

    2. In the General tab, adjust your time zone.

    3. In the Compliance tab, adjust your Quiet Hours and Smart Sending settings.

    4. In the Attribution tab, define your email conversion window.

    5. Click Save.

    6. Set Up SMS Sending

    Applies to: SMS only

    Estimated time: 2 mins

    If you plan to use SMS, click the “TFN Verification” banner on your Yotpo SMS & Email homepage to start the verification process.

    Important

    This step is mandatory before sending SMS and may take time to complete. We recommend doing it early to avoid delays.

    7. Set Up Your Brand Kit

    Applies to: Email only

    Customize your templates with logos, colors, and fonts.

    1. Estimated time: 10 mins

    2. Go to Settings > Brand Kit.

    3. Upload your logo.

    4. Select primary/secondary colors and fonts.

    5. Save your settings.
