In this article, you'll learn how to troubleshoot errors you may encounter while using manual review requests.
Error messages upon uploading a CSV file:
After uploading a CSV file into Product Reviews and/or Site Reviews in the Manual Reviews Requests feature, you see a breakdown of the number of valid email addresses next to the Upload button.

Valid emails are the number of emails in the CSV file that are in the correct format (example@example.com).
If some or all of those emails are invalid, you will receive the following error messages:
Invalid file or File is not valid
- This message is displayed if you tried to upload a file that was not a CSV, was a CSV but not in the correct encoding (UTF-8), or did not contain the mandatory columns.
More than 2500 emails
- This message is displayed if you tried to upload a file containing more than 2500 rows.
No valid emails
- The file structure is valid but contains no valid emails and/or the emails listed are in the wrong format.
Please note:
If there is at least 1 valid email, you will get a message “X valid emails.” Click Send to send the requests.
