Email Pricing Overview
Yotpo SMS & Email’s email pricing structure is designed with transparency in mind, providing growing brands with cost-effective access to essential email marketing features. With Yotpo Email, you can leverage powerful tools such as customizable email templates, an intuitive drag-and-drop email editor, and automated flows to engage your audience effectively. Best of all, you can send emails to an unlimited number of contacts, allowing you to scale your email marketing efforts without worrying about unexpected costs.
Yotpo SMS & Email’s email billing and pricing details are available in the Usage and Spend section of your account. You can also monitor email costs directly in the analytics pages, helping you track your spending and make informed decisions about your email marketing strategy.
Key Places to Monitor Email Costs:
Costs are estimates, calculated as $0.001 per email without taking into consideration the 10,000 free emails you get in each billing cycle.
Revenue Analytics - Total Spent: See a combined estimate of your costs for both SMS and email.
Revenue Analytics - Revenue Sources: Review spending alongside your return on investment (ROI).
Campaign Analytics - Campaign Spend: View the cost for each specific email campaign.
Flow Analytics - Spend: Monitor costs related to automated email flows.
Viewing Your Email Pricing
Accessing the Billing Section
To view your email pricing and usage:
Log in to your Yotpo Email account.
Navigate to the Usage and Spend section.
Viewing Email Usage and Costs
In the Usage and Spend section, you can see:
The total number of emails sent during the current billing cycle.
An estimate of your next bill based on your current usage.
Analyzing Email Costs
To gain a deeper understanding of your email marketing costs, access the Campaign Analytics and Flow Analytics pages to see the cost breakdown of individual campaigns and flows. You can also monitor overall email marketing performance from the Revenue Analytics page.

Yotpo Email offers a tiered pricing model that adjusts based on the number of emails you send. This provides flexibility as your business scales, ensuring you only pay for what you use.

All test emails are sent for free, so you can test your email campaigns without any additional cost.

Example 1: Sending 11,500 Emails
If you send 11,500 emails in a billing cycle, the cost breakdown would look like this:

Billing cycle
The billing cycle depends on your payment method. If you are billed via Shopify then your cycle will be based on your Shopify billing cycle. If you are billed via credit card, your cycle will be monthly.
Important Notes on Billing
Unused Quotas: Any unused email quota withing a billing period will not carry over to the next month.
Example: If you have a monthly billing cycle set to the 15th of every month and you send your first email campaign on January 15th, you can send up to 10,000 free emails through February 14th. If you send 11,000 emails between January 15th and February 14th, you will be charged for the 1,000 emails beyond your 10,000 free email quota. Your quota resets on February 15th, allowing you to send another 10,000 free emails. If you only send 9,000 emails between January 15th and February 14th, the remaining 1,000 emails will NOT carry over to February 15th, and your quota will reset to 10,000.
Refund Process
If a refund is necessary, you can contact Yotpo SMS & Email Support or your CSM. In some cases, the refund process involves verification by our Billing Department, which may cause a slight delay in the refund. Once a refund is approved, the funds will be returned to you using your payment method.
While we strive to resolve refund requests promptly, processing may take some time due to the manual steps involved. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience caused during this process.
