Start collecting orders from day one with Yotpo's Kickstart Credits. Think of them as our way of ensuring that you gain the maximum value from Yotpo's features.
What Are Kickstart Credits?
Yotpo's free and monthly plans are capped by a monthly order limit in accordance with your plan of choice. Kickstart Credits are bonus credits for additional orders which allow you to reach out to past customers to request more reviews.
If you're on a free or monthly Yotpo plan, you'll receive 200 kickstart credits during your first month - in addition to the monthly order amount included in your plan!
Important:
Kickstart credits are not issued for annual plans as these plans do not impose limits on orders.
As Kickstart Credits are product review requests which are synced with past orders, it is not possible to apply Kickstart Credits towards site review requests.
How do Kickstart Credits work?
Upon signing up to Yotpo, we'll get you started by sending review request emails for past purchases. Following the Yotpo installation, your past orders from the last 90 days will be retrieved.
Kickstart Credits are only available for the first month of your subscription.
In other words, Kickstart Credits will not be issued if you upgrade your plan.
Important:
Review request emails are sent to your past customers upon activation of automatic review request emails.
Be sure that you've completed all of your automatic review request email customizations prior to activating the feature in the Yotpo Admin.
How many Kickstart Credits do I receive?
If you're on a free or monthly Yotpo plan, you'll receive 200 kickstart credits during your first month - in addition to the monthly order amount included in your plan!
Are Kickstart Credits supported for all eCommerce platforms?
Yotpo supports Kickstart Credits for the following platforms:
Shopify
Adobe Commerce
BigCommerce
WooCommerce
Shopify and Bigcommerce stores:
Orders from the past 150 days are pulled retroactively
Adobe Commerce and WooCommerce stores:
Orders from the past 90 days are pulled retroactively
If your eCommerce platform is not listed above, past orders will not be retrieved automatically and will need to be pulled using the API Endpoint below:
Can I control how far back to send review request emails?
Yes! During the Yotpo installation, you can control the number of days to retroactively go back and send review request emails. This refers to your existing orders prior to installing Yotpo.
Note: Once the first order is retrieved, this can no longer be changed.
